The name "Shekerbura" comes from the Turkic word "Burulmush sheker" which translates as "twisted sugar". In Azerbaijan Shekerbura is usually baked during the spring holiday of Novruz and personifies the moon. The dough for Shekerbura is kneaded from wheat flour, butter (or margarine), milk, egg yolks and sour cream. As a filling, nuts, sugar and cardamon are used. The filling of almonds is very common.

COMPOSITION
Dough: German premium flour, New Zealand butter, sour cream, milk, eggs, vanilla, yeast.
Filling: hazelnuts, sugar, cardamon.

ALLERGENS
Flour, eggs, milk and milk products, hazelnuts, cardamon.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
Storage conditions, humidity up to 75%: from +15°C to +25°C at dry and clean place.
Shelf life: 120 hours.
